Our Family Story

On Sept 21, 1912 Antonio J. Camilli arrived from Acquasanta, Italy at Ellis Island, NY aboard the Duca d' Aosta. He settled in the Pittsburg, PA area with his wife and young son.

Times were humble, but the Camillli family maintained a rich tradition of Italian food in the house. Homemade Italian salami and prosciutto could be found hanging in the garage until just the right age. Hand wrapped raviolis filled with pork, spinach and cheese and traditional spaghetti sauce were always the focal point of family holiday gatherings.
